The World According To Me

That feeling when you think your entire being is going to burst with happiness;

When your spirit is alive and vivid;

When you find yourself smiling constantly, for no specific reason;

When minutes feel like hours in a deliciously painful manner;

I've got it. I'm full of it. I'm pathetic and am loving every minute of it.

I gots da music in me :)

The sun is shining.

I'm inside at a desk where I have to crane my neck to get a peak of natural light.

I want to be outside;

I want to be laying on the grass;

drinking wine;

smoking a spliff;

the sun on my face;

talking shit;

NOT

in front of a PC;

Sometimes losing my mouse to the mountains of files and documents crowding my desk;

Itching to get up;

Mainlining coffee to stay awake;

Pretending I'm happy to be here;

Stifled.

Boooooooo.

When I started this blog thing on the intramanet, I was so excited. Here was a whole world of possibility to vent, share and ramble, with the added bonus of doing so from the comfort of my own desk. It's quickly become apparent, however, that I'm not doing such a great job.

I read the blogs of others, and for the most part marvel at their wit and cleverness (is that even a word? If not = ironic), and am pretty sure that this has something to do with why I don't blog much - I'd hate to have one of those blogs in which someone stumbles across it, reads the first 2 posts and concludes that it is rubbish. I've been blog-intimidated!

Having said this, I am now going to make an extra-concerted effort to blog. And blog good.
