It's balancing out

Bad News - I have a cold of epic snot-filled proportions.

Good news - I have taught Agnes to jump into my arms! I have always wanted to have a cat who can do things, a bit like a dog but without the demandingness. And now I have one. So not only can she catch huge rats and open all internal doors, she can now jump into my arms on command. And I am tall, so this feat is even more impressive*
As you were.
*to me

Comments:
Trick cat; Very. Impressive.

I get a warm glow of satisfaction when I can convince mine to use the litter tray. Also mine brought home a baby red bellied black snake, not dead and as mad as cat-mauled snake. So on that score I reckon I win.

Take consolation from the fact that we're drowning in snot out this way too. Feel better soon.

Mizanthrop, take heart in the fact that my other cat can do little other than look pretty. When she was much littler she had trouble remembering where her food bowl was (despite it never, ever moving)so it was like a surprise every time I picked her up and plonked her down in front of it, "Oh wow, FOOD! Where did that come from?"

Aggie is quite the clever one though, I think she tries harder because she's a bit fugly. Bless her.

That's awesome! Training cts is pretty hard considering they really don't care too much. Dgs just want to be told "Good dog" so they're easy.

Feel better soon!
